My name is Rafael Bonilla. I am a portrait photographer based in sunny Florida. For the past couple of years, I have been photographing anything and everything. From technically proficient portfolio head shots to landscapes in the lonely mountains, I can truly say that photography is my one and only passion.
Through all of my travels and journeys, there is one thing that I have come to learn: that in order to take a great photo, you must understand the needs of your subject. I am not only going to be a photographer for you, but I will also be your personal guide, stylist, hype man, and friend. At 19 years of age, I decided to purchase a small Sony camera. What started off as simply wanting to capture moments of my upcoming road trip, eventually evolved into what it is today. Photography gives me the opportunity to gift people the moments worth remembering. That is the sole reason I am in love with this art form. My photography career started with doing free photo shoots, just because I wanted to take some images back home to edit. I remember walking downtown one afternoon, and I saw a family using their phone to take photos of their daughter. She wore a cap and gown, and at that moment, I knew it was a special moment for her. I couldn't help but offer my services to her and her family. I will never forget the excitement in her eyes and the happiness that came afterwards when I gave her a glimpse of the photos. That is the gift of photography, and it is an extraordinary one. It is one that I cannot wait to share with you.

How did RB Photography come to be? From traveling across the country on a motorcycle at 19 to living on top of my car for 5 weeks. The spirit of adventure was always living within me. Through out all these travels I realized one thing. That I might not always be able to relive these memories with just my mind alone. I bought my first camera, and started photographing the beauty that surrounded me. To have been able to capture those precious moments that went on in my life, was a gift. I eventually knew that every time I held a camera I had a talent. A talent that I was ready to share with the world. If there is one thing about me that you should know, it’s that whatever I set my mind to, I make it happen. Whether I have doubters, supporters, or just me. I truly believe in myself and I truly believe in this brand. As a photographer, you choose the road less traveled, and that road is a tough one to take. RB Photography represents not just me, but you, too. I am here to represent the dreamers, achievers, go-getters, and believers. The passion that I have for this art consumes me with happiness. It is a joy that shows through my photography and creates an end product that you will relish for ages. That is what RB Photography is all about.
